For one Dutchman the answer is ten days.
Alexander Pieter recently waited ten days at an airport for a woman that he met on an online dating app. The 41-year-old flew to China to meet a 26-year-old Chinese woman who he developed a relationship with a few months ago.
Here's where things got weird...
Cirk refused to leave the airport until the woman arrived, but eventually had to be hospitalized after suffering physical exhaustion. The woman says the man told her of his plans to visit but says she thought it was a joke. She says she was undergoing plastic surgery during Cirk's visit and was unable to be contacted.
The woman says she is still willing to meet with Cirk when she recovers.
